A Star Is Born
For years the WRF family has always thought of Francesca Stufano as our little sis and we immediately associate her with barrelling around on her lil Derby pony. Well, she quietly grew into horses and really got everyone's attention last fall when she marched into the Big E arena for her first New England Equitation Championships and rode with a confidence & maturity that had everyone cheering! We should have known that was a sign of things to come. While the WRF team was showing down in Florida this winter Chessy was dilligently preparing for her 2012 and boy has her hard work paid off. Chessy made her Medal/Maclay debut at the Holloway Brook Horse Show and guess who was the Maclay winner?? CONGRATULATIONS CHESSY!! We are SO PROUD of you!!
Woodridge Farm adult rider, Sean Rogers, featured in the March issue of Equine Journal magazine

Former NEEC Jr Sportsmanship winners Carly Corbacho & Kate Stento made a sweep of the adult medals with Carly winning the NEHC and Kate taking both the MHJ & MHC!
It's not easy making the pony to horse transition but once aboard a horse every junior eventually has that first show where everything comes together and they announce their 'arrival'. It took Samantha Peck all of two horse shows for that to happen. At the RWF show she was the winner of the the National Children's Medal, the MHJ and qualified for the junior MHC. 2 words for this girl: going places. Congrats Samantha!
Also at RWF Abby Bertelson inched closer to Harrisburg with a 2nd in the USEF Medal. Great prizes by Jillian Schelzi, Chessy Stufano & Tegan Treacy as well.
